I need your vote! I stand for service, protection and integrity. I serve you, the citizens of this County, and pledge to provide you with the safety and protection you need to lead healthy and happy lives. I am a person who has always served with honor and integrity. I know there have been concerns by our citizens about drugs, youth gangs, (group violence) and official misconduct. There have been articles in the paper and on tv that don’t reflect the wonderful quality of life we enjoy here in Bastrop County. I will work to make sure that the Sheriff’s Office embodies the high standards that our voters expect. The election this year is so very important and I urge every citizen in Bastrop County to take part by voting for the people you feel are best qualified to serve you, and I hope that includes me. The following information is provided to help you make that important decision.

Our fellow citizens have created a master plan for Bastrop County----Opportunity Bastrop County. It is a vision for a safe, thriving community with a bright future. It addresses our economic development, transportation needs, health care, and the bio-diversity that is so important for our Colorado River and our communities. I support that plan and as Sheriff will do everything in my power to make it a reality.

I encourage every citizen to embrace that vision as well as one which
sees Bastrop County as the safest county in the United States.
